Great value for money, the room was cozy and well-designed with modern amenities. The location of the hotel in the center of Henley was convenient, and the staff, Lucy and Jon, were welcoming and thoughtful.

The breakfast experience could be improved with the addition of more variety in the morning meal.

Quirky Tudor charm, comfortable bed, refreshments provided, clean and cosy, good communication with owner.

    Didn't dislike anything.

I recently stayed at this charming cottage in the heart of Henley for a few nights. It was small, but well-designed and oozing with character. The steep stairs added to its uniqueness, and there was a notice reminding us to close the cover over the opening, which was easy to do. The cottage had everything I needed, and I particularly enjoyed the thoughtful extras like shortbread, chocolates, and great coffee. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the cottage was spotlessly clean. I can't wait to book again and would highly recommend this gem of a place.

    Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Lovely quiet and private cottage down a lane. Open plan downstairs with seating area and kitchen. Steep stairs lead to a charming bedroom with ensuite shower room. Great host allowed us to bring our cat and dog. Would highly recommend this gem of a place.

This tiny, characterful cottage in Henley-on-Thames offers a beautiful and historical experience. It is perfect for a couple, with two levels providing a dining space, kitchenette, bedroom, and bathroom. The cottage is clean and well-maintained, and the owner offers good communication for check-in. It is situated in a quiet area, and amenities such as tea, milk, biscuits, and toiletries are provided. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the availability of kitchen facilities to prepare our own meals.

This place is full of charm and history, with a great location just a short walk from the center. The cottage is well-equipped and the host is welcoming. There are added luxuries like bath robes and refillable bottles, and the sustainability practices are commendable. Don't forget to grab a walking tour map from the info center to explore the historic buildings.

The bed was very creaky and it disrupted my sleep.

Loved the small and well-designed character cottage. It had a charming and historical feel to it. Great location, only a short walk from the center of town, yet in a quiet area.- The cottage was very clean and had lots of facilities.

Lots of creaks, especially the bed, which made it difficult to sleep peacefully. The pillows were quite hard and could benefit from an upgrade.

Upon entering this charming cottage, we were immediately greeted by its lovely character and cozy atmosphere. The thoughtful touches, such as the delicious shortbread, chocolates, and excellent coffee, made us feel truly welcomed. The cleanliness of the cottage was impeccable, and the bed provided the utmost comfort for a good night's sleep. We found everything we needed and more during our stay. Additionally, the location in Henley was convenient and quiet, offering a peaceful retreat. we highly recommend this beautiful 15th-century cottage for a memorable experience in Henley.

Although the cottage provided a unique and enjoyable stay, the lack of dedicated parking required us to find limited street parking nearby. Furthermore, individuals with mobility issues may face challenges due to the uneven entryway, low head clearance, and steep stairs.

I had the most enchanting stay at this charming little cottage in the heart of the Henley community. As soon as I entered, I was embraced by its character and charm. The attention to detail was impeccable, with thoughtful touches like a lovely bunch of flowers and delicious shortbread waiting for me. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows and towels were of excellent quality. I really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, complete with a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and kettle. And to top it off, there was even a clothes washer available. Despite being located in a quaint lane, the cottage was close to everything in Henley. It truly felt like a step back in time, offering a quiet and comfortable escape.

The cottage was incredibly charming and full of character, with a jaw-dropping historic feel. The location was amazing, right in the heart of the town, making it easy to explore. The host was welcoming and provided advanced messages to ensure a smooth stay. The cottage was also well-equipped and had added luxuries like towelling bath robes and refreshments. it felt like stepping back in time to a Tudor retreat.

The cottage was indeed tiny, and those with multiple guests might find it a tight squeeze. the steep stairs and access through a hatch may not be suitable for everyone, so it's important to carefully consider the layout beforehand.
